Pipes to be sent to our facility for PE coating are checked by Rubiliner, with isometric drawings, if any, in accordance with our technical specifications. Pipes are sent by Rubiliner for surface chemical cleaning and parkerizing to Pastem Ltd. This ensure rust free surface and extra protection against rusting at service. The interior of the black carbon steel pipe is painted with epoxy after chemical surface preparation.
Powder polyethylene is filled into steel pipes, pipe ends are blunted and processed at 180 – 250 C in large 2-axis rotating furnaces. These temperatures are below the heat treatments for steels.

Outside surface of PE coated pipes are painted with anti-rust paint and flange surfaces are fitted with a MDF protective cover and made ready for transport. Spool numbers and rubiliner numbers labes are pasted to pipe surface.
